Contractor Standards & Commercial Engagement

ROI Property Services Inc. works through a disciplined commercial coordination process built around independent businesses. We value skilled contractors, specialist trades, and reliable service providers who respect standards, communicate clearly, and operate professionally.

Our role is to protect the client experience through structure, communication, documentation, and follow-up. That process supports service quality and operational consistency. It does not create an employment relationship.

How Our Process Works

ROI Property Services Inc. may coordinate, schedule, document, follow up on, or oversee work completed by outside contractors, trades, and specialist service providers. That coordination is part of our commercial service model. It exists to protect the property, the client relationship, and the service standard expected on every assignment.

Our process may include service scopes, response expectations, reporting protocols, photo documentation requirements, scheduling windows, confidentiality rules, and standards for conduct on site. These are operating standards tied to the assignment and the client experience. They are not an employment framework.

What We Value

We value talented contractors and specialist service providers who operate with maturity, reliability, and respect for the client environment. We look for people and businesses that understand timing, discretion, property care, communication, and follow-through.

Good contractors strengthen the quality of the overall result. That is why we maintain standards around presentation, responsiveness, documentation, and conduct.

What We Do Not Represent

Contractors, trades, and third-party service providers are not employees of ROI Property Services Inc. unless a separate written employment agreement expressly states otherwise. Our standards, coordination, and reporting process do not convert an outside business into staff.

Nothing on this page is intended to create an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship where none exists in law or by written agreement.

Independent Business Responsibilities

Each contractor, trade, or outside service provider remains responsible for operating their own business properly and lawfully. That includes their own internal administration, tax compliance, business compliance, and financial responsibilities.

  • Business registration and licensing where required
  • GST/HST collection, filings, and remittances where applicable
  • Income tax reporting and payment obligations
  • CPP, payroll, and other statutory obligations where applicable
  • Insurance, tools, vehicles, and operating costs
  • Work methods, staffing, and internal business operations
  • Invoices, bookkeeping, and fiscal administration
  • Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards

ROI Property Services Inc. expects contractors to manage their own business responsibilities fully, including tax and fiscal obligations, without transferring those responsibilities to our company.

Operational Standards on Assignments

To protect clients, properties, and service quality, contractors working on assignments connected to ROI Property Services Inc. may be required to follow assignment-specific standards such as:

  • Scheduling and attendance windows
  • Property access procedures
  • Communication response expectations
  • Completion confirmation and documentation
  • Photo reporting where required
  • Client confidentiality and discretion
  • Professional conduct on site
  • Safety, cleanliness, and property-respect rules

These rules are part of our commercial quality-control process. They are intended to support outcomes, accountability, and client confidence. They do not govern the contractor’s overall business in the manner of an employer directing an employee.

Clarity for Clients and Service Providers

Where ROI Property Services Inc. coordinates outside work, our function may include communication, oversight, scheduling support, documentation, quality follow-up, and client-facing service continuity. Unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement, outside contractors and service providers remain independent third parties operating their own businesses.

This structure supports a clear commercial process: the client receives organized oversight and disciplined coordination, while each outside provider remains responsible for their own business, methods, legal compliance, and financial obligations.

Structured Oversight. Clear Standards. Serious Execution.

ROI Property Services Inc. is built around disciplined coordination, documented reporting, and commercial-grade accountability for owners who expect clarity and control.
